Our team of qualified professionals have a shared passion and dedication to working with children and families. At Discovery Day Nursery we follow safer recruitment procedures and as part of The Education People Nurseries family, the team benefits from continuous professional development advice and support.
All of our professionals have received Safeguarding and Food Hygiene training and they hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification.

Acting Manager
Special Educational Needs Officer, Designated Safeguarding Officer, English as an Additional Language Officer.

“My name is Claudia, my last qualification is Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching. I love working with children as it makes me feel happy that I see I have a positive impact on their lives by giving them a valuable start in life, helping them to learn and develop skills that meet their needs. I enjoy being physically active and I spend a lot of time playing with my two children and dog, and walk with my family in natural surroundings such as woods and seaside.”

I have children of my own and worked in Early Years for over 7 years, I have always had a heart for my childcare role and very passionate about making a difference to the children and families in my care. My name is Lilia, I am a Level 2 Practitioner. I have worked in childcare for almost 10 years in various settings with all age groups.
I have gained lots of experience in each of my roles, helping meet the development and needs of young people. I have a huge passion working in early years and I am looking forward to starting my journey with the team , children, and parents.
I recently became a new mum myself so I'm excited to start this new chapter aswell as bringing in a new role model for your little ones that will help them thrive everyday with new ideas and planning to meet their needs and wishes.
